The Mariahilfer Straße, the largest shopping area in Vienna, can be reached in two minutes walking. Only one kilometer away is the Haus des Meeres. Interesting is the fact that the Haus des Meeres is located in a former Flakturm from the Second World War, which still rises like a memorial into the sky.
