The most famous shopping streets in Vienna around the Graben, Kohlmarkt and Tuchlauben are only three subway stations away. The apartment is located close to all the sights of the first district, such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg, the Spanish Horse Riding School, the Heroes’ Square and many, many more. There are some of the best restaurants in Vienna and many small local eateries and grocery stores such as the famous Meinl am Graben or the Viennese flair of the famous Café Central and the Schwarze Kameel.
In the 6th district you can also find the Musuem Quarter, which is one of the ten largest cultural complexes in Europe and the Mariahilfer Straße – Vienna’s biggest shopping area. The Theater an der Wien, Vienna’s new opera house, is located in the 6th district, too.
